Kowhai Kindergarten is situated on the southern outskirts of Timaru, the kindergarten feeds to various town and rural schools. We operate mixed age group sessions with the option of our 20 oldest children able to attend the extended sessions until 2.30pm on Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.

Teachers welcome families and children to become involved in this learning environment that supports each child to express their ideas and feelings, while developing new interests and understandings. We celebrate each child’s progress and achievement and the curiosity of childhood, within this social setting.

We invite families to visit and spend time at Kowhai Kindergarten, observing the children at work with their friends and teachers while you make an informed decision regarding your child’s early childhood education.

Hours:

• Monday, Tuesday and Thursday – 8.30am to 2.30pm
• Wednesday and Friday – 8.15am to 12.30pm
