Rata Free Kindergarten is situated at the northern end of Temuka, opposite Wallingford Rest Home. Rata offers a mixed age group setting for children. A stimulating learning programme is provided for children based on the national early childhood curriculum Te Whariki. Specially designed buildings, furniture, equipment and playground cater for and challenge the many and varied needs of young children.
